Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called on the international community on Wednesday to pressure the Israeli occupation to implement a ceasefire and end the war in Gaza. In his remarks during an interview with Television Espanola, Sanchez said that the precautionary measures of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) are "mandatory and binding", emphasizing the need to put more pressure on the occupation to end the war. When he was asked whether he considers what is happening in Gaza a "genocide", Sanchez said that he does not have the right to state that, but showed serious doubts about Israeli occupation's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's respect for international humanitarian law.
