After midnight last night, southern Lebanon was subjected to air raids launched by Israeli fighters targeting several places, while the Israeli army's artillery continued to shell villages and sites of the Lebanese Hezbollah. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that "Israeli warplanes carried out an air aggression after midnight last night, targeting the outskirts of the Mahmoudiya area and the western outskirts of the town of Blat in southern Lebanon." The agency added that the Israeli air force "followed it up with a second raid less than 10 minutes later on the outskirts of the Mahmoudiya area, east of the plain of Maydane Kfar Rman." Earlier last night, the agency reported that "4 consecutive raids targeted the town of Kfar Kila in the Marjeyoun district" in the Nabatieh Governorate. It explained that "the first raid targeted Ain al-Ashwaq neighborhood, the second raid targeted the center of the town of (al-Nouriya), the third raid targeted al-Hariqa neighborhood, and the fourth raid is being m onitored." In the morning, the agency reported that "the enemy (Israel) fired flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line throughout last night, and fired incendiary bombs at the forests adjacent to the Blue Line, and at dawn fired heavy machine guns towards the town of Aita al-Shaab in the central sector. The agency did not mention the consequences of the raids and whether there were any injuries or victims, nor did it specify the extent of the destruction inflicted on the targeted areas. For its part, Hezbollah announced that it "targeted at 8:pm, Sunday, the espionage equipment at the Ramya site (northern Israel) with appropriate weapons, and hit it directly, which led to its destruction." For its part, the Israeli army said in a statement that it had monitored the launch of about 30 rockets from Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee. It claimed that its air defenses "intercepted most of the rockets, while one of them fell in Beit Hillel settlement without causing any injuries." The private newspaper "Israel Today" had previously reported that about 50 rockets were launched from southern Lebanon towards Upper Galilee. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
