South Korea President, Japan Prime Minister Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation

In statements following the meeting, Yoon expressed his hope for South Korea and Japan to work together toward a better future in their bilateral relations, acknowledging that there are still challenging issues between the two nations. Yoon emphasized that in order to continue strengthening cooperation between South Korea and Japan, as well as trilateral cooperation between South Korea, the United States, and Japan, it is important to maintain the positive momentum of bilateral collaboration, which has been fostered by the two leaders.
