Mogadishu, April 1 - Somali security forces arrested two armed members of Al-Shabaab movement linked to Al-Qaeda, in a security operation in the capital, Mogadishu. According to Somali News Agency (SONNA), the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) arrested on Monday two members who sought to commit acts to destabilize the security and stability of the capital Mogadishu. During their arrest, the two members were in possession of explosives with intent to harm civilians. For a decade now, the Somali forces have been waging battles against Al-Shabaab movement, which has claimed several attacks that killed hundreds of civilians and security personnel. Within months, the Somali forces have succeeded in regaining a number of areas that were controlled by the movement. Source: Qatar News Agency
