Sixth Military Region Commemorates Imam Zaid Martyrdom in Sa’ada

The Sixth Military Region in Sa'ada province commemorated Imam Zaid - peace be upon him - martyrdom anniversary with a cultural event under the slogan "The Principle and the Firm Position". During the event, Sa'ada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad explained that the revolution of Imam Zaid - peace be upon him - is a jihadist revolution against injustice, tyrants and arrogant people. Governor Awad stressed the steadfastness on the principles and values for which Imam Zaid sacrificed himself. He pointed out the importance of starting with confronting all enemies principle , led by America and Israel, who want to subjugate the Arab and Islamic peoples. Awad condemned the heinous assassination crime that targeted the head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, expressing his deepest condolences and sympathy to the entire axis of resistance, Hamas and the Palestinian people for the martyrdom of the Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh. Speeches were delivered that emphasized the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in their principle and firm position in supporting the oppressed Palestinians. The speeches reviewed a part of the Imam Zaid life and biography - peace be upon him - his struggle in the way of God, his virtues, his courage in confronting tyrants and injustice.
