The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of (6) wanted persons on charges of terrorism and drug trafficking, including foreigners, in various governorates. The Directorate stated in a statement that, through accurate intelligence information, the detachments of the Maysan Intelligence and Security Directorate were able to arrest three people wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article (2/4) of terrorism, through their presence in Al-Kahla District in Maysan Governorate. On the other hand, after examining and collecting information about organized crime gangs and drug dealers, the detachments of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security, in coordination with Narcotics Affairs, carried out two separate missions in the provinces of Najaf and Karbala, which resulted in the arrest of (3) drug dealers who were in their possession of various narcotic substances and drug paraphernalia. Two of them were foreigners. Judicial warrants were issued ag ainst them in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) of drugs.
