Baghdad, Border Guard forces arrested (4) people accused of drug trafficking in Basra. The Border Guard Command said in a statement: 'al-Shalamcheh Customs Police detachments, affiliated with the Fourth Region Customs Police Directorate, seized (3) foreign travelers, and another Iraqi, and seized in their possession (2,500) narcotic pills.' It added: "The accused and the seized items were referred to the judiciary." In Baquba, a security force arrested two people accused of drug trafficking in Diyala. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA/: 'A force from the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department in the Diyala Police arrested two accused of promoting narcotic substances on the outskirts of Baquba, the center of the governorate.'
