Shura Council’s Main Committee discusses Council’s Economic Committee report

The main committee of the Shura Council held on Wednesday its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Council Chairman Mohammed Hussein Al Aidarous. The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Speaker Mohammed Hassan Al-Durrah, was dedicated to discussing the report of the Council's Economic Committee on the indicators of the economic , commercial situation under the aggression and blockade. In the meeting, which began with the reading of Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of the brutal Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Palestine, the head of the Shura Council praised the efforts of the Supreme Political Council. The head of the Shura Council praised the efforts of the Supreme Political Council , the government and the economic policies it has taken, which contributed significantly to stabilizing the economic situation , stabilizing prices and the national currency. The Economic Committee Vice Chairman , Dr. Ahmed Shamakh, reviewed the report main themes, which included the impact of international res trictions , sanctions ,the challenges facing trade and economic activity, while the Committee's rapporteur, Mohammed Al-Zoum, discussed the most important conclusions and report recommendations. The meeting was enriched by a number of interventions that emphasized the importance of encouraging investment for national and expatriate capital, providing appropriate facilities for the private sector to revitalize small , medium enterprises, working to support the state's directions in reforming financial and economic policies. The main committee decided to return the report to the Economic Committee to accommodate the comments received, the committee had read and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
