Doha: Al Rayyan club's general assembly has elected by acclamation HE Sheikh Al Qaqa bin Hamad Al-Thani as president of the club and Ali Salem Afifa as vice-president for the 2024 - 2028 session. The club held the first meeting of the general assembly last Thursday, during which it approved the previous minutes and discussed the report of HE the president of the club on the work of the year ending 2023/2024, in addition to activity programs and work plan for 2024/2025. The meeting also approved the final accounts for the fiscal year 2023/2024 and the draft estimated budget for the fiscal year 2024/2025, discussed the auditor's report for the fiscal year 2023/2024, appointed an auditor for the fiscal year 2024/2025, and considered the proposals submitted by the members of the general assembly. The club's vice president Ali Salem Afifa stressed that the management will support different games in order to compete in all championships. He pointed out that the management will continue to work according to the long-term strategic plan that was set last season to advance various games, praising the first football team and their achievements in the previous season by obtaining second place in the Qatar League and reaching the final of the Qatar Cup, while stressing that work will continue in the current season to achieve ambitions.
