Rapid Response Division forces arrested 7 people wanted on drug charges in Maysan. The Division's leadership stated in a statement, "A force from the Fourth Brigade of the Rapid Response Division Command in the Ministry of Interior was able to arrest 7 people wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of Narcotics of the Iraqi Penal Code. They found in their possession of a quantity of crystal narcotic substances in Maysan Governorate." It explained that this operation came in cooperation with the Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the governorate, in cooperation with the Rapid Response Intelligence Department, whereby the wanted persons and the seized items were handed over to the requested party.
