The September 21 University for Medical and Applied Sciences has organized a solidarity stand in support of the Palestinian people and condemning the recent assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, by the Zionist enemy. University members, academics, and students participated in the stand, raising Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against the Zionist entity's crimes in Gaza, southern Lebanon, and Iraq, as well as the terrorist act targeting Haniyeh. A statement from the stand praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and the bravery of the Mujahideen/fighters in Gaza, who continue to resist and sacrifice to punish their enemies. The statement also commended the efforts of the Yemeni armed forces in confronting the Zionists and called for the continuation of escalated actions to support the Palestinian cause. The statement criticized Arab and Muslim leaders for their inaction, urging them to defend their dignity in light of recent derogatory remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. It called on global citizens and free nations to denounce the terrorist crimes of the Zionist and American enemies and urged international bodies to pressure for an end to the violence in Gaza.
