A meeting was held on Sunday at Amran University, chaired by Rector Dr. Khaled Hussein al-Hawali, to discuss the self-evaluation of the academic program at the College of Medicine. The meeting, which included the university's vice rectors and the higher committee for the self-evaluation study, focused on assessing the Medicine and Surgery program at various levels. Attendees reviewed the achievements and progress in the self-evaluation process, comparing them with international standards, including those set by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). Dr. Al-Hawali emphasized the importance of meeting all required indicators and standards. He highlighted the university's goal of obtaining academic program accreditation, underscoring its commitment to enhancing the quality of education, particularly in the College of Medicine. He acknowledged the efforts of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and their teams in striving for higher educati onal standards.
