A force from the Diyala Police carried out a security operation to search areas adjacent to the Diyala River and the administrative borders between Diyala and Salah al-Din. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The security operation included setting up daytime and nighttime ambushes to monitor the movements of terrorists and secure the villages of Bishkan, Hawi Kabiba, and Hawi al-Kala'a, as part of the plan and efforts of the security leadership to end the activity of ISIS cells and maintain the security and stability of the region.
