A statement by the Cell stated that: "Following our statement yesterday regarding the air strike carried out by Iraqi F16 aircraft in the Hamrin Mountains within the Diyala Operations Sector, based on information from the Military Intelligence Directorate and under the supervision of the Targeting Cell in the Joint Operations Command, a force from the First Division in the Diyala Operations Command went out in cooperation with a force from the Military Intelligence Directorate's reconnaissance resources to search the strike site and found 3 bodies of terrorists, explosive belts, hand grenades, various weapons, logistical materials, mobile devices, criminal evidence and other materials."
