Director of the Branches Department of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Yahya al-Saqqaf has inaugurated a project to distribute and install drip irrigation networks and greenhouses in Qa'a al-Bun agricultural area in Raydah district in Amran province. The project comes within joint efforts to support food security and nutrition in Yemen, which is implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in partnership with Sada Foundation for Construction and Development, funded by the European Union. The project aims to distribute drip irrigation networks to 380 farmers and 40 greenhouses for vegetable crops, with an area of 152 hectares of Qa'a al-Bun farms, with the aim of reducing crop costs, increasing production, and improving farmers' income.
