Amman: Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, accompanied by Vice Minister of Mining Affairs Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, began an official visit to the Kingdom on Tuesday. The Saudi minister will meet a number of government officials, investors, and heads of private sector companies in addition to making field visits to a number of Jordanian factories, the Saudi Embassy in Amman said in a statement on Tuesday. According to the statement, the volume of Saudi exports to Jordan in 2023 amounted to SAR 7.6 billion, while its total imports from Jordan reached SAR 7.5 billion. The key Saudi exports to Jordan were food products, chemicals and polymers, and building materials, while key imports included medicines and food products. Source: Jordan News Agency
