Youth and Sports Minister in the caretaker government, Muhammad Hussein Al-Muaydi, inspected the work of the final phase of rehabilitating and turfing Al-Zarafi Stadium in the capital secretariat. The executing company has begun work on the asphalt layer of the stadium floor, in preparation for installing the turfing process, and the work is almost complete, and it is expected that the stadium will be ready and prepared to hold sports competitions and host competitions between clubs and sports teams at the beginning of next April. During the visit, Minister Al-Muaydi stressed the necessity of adhering to quality standards and technical specifications during the implementation process, pointing to the sporting and historical value represented by Al-Zarafi Stadium, which hosted the first generation of pioneers of the sports movement. At the conclusion of the visit, Minister Al-Muaydi directed the project team and the implementing agency to intensify efforts to complete the remaining work as quickly as possib le.
