Jeddah: Saudi Arabia has emphasized the importance of establishing peace in Palestine through adherence to international legitimacy resolutions. During a recent session held in Jeddah, the Saudi Cabinet underscored the need for the international community to play a pivotal role in mitigating the adverse effects of Israeli aggression, while also safeguarding innocent civilians in Palestine.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies the statement was delivered by Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, the Minister of State and Acting Minister of Media, following the Cabinet session chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The Cabinet session reviewed the latest global and regional developments, reaffirming Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at fostering regional and global security, resolving crises, reducing tensions, and promoting diplomatic dialogue as a viable means for dispute resolution.
The Cabinet also reiterated the Kingdom's stance, as expressed by the Crown Prince in his communications with leaders from various countries, emphasizing the continued support for international initiatives aimed at achieving long-lasting peace and security in the region. The emphasis on international legitimacy resolutions highlights Saudi Arabia's dedication to a diplomatic approach in addressing the ongoing conflict and ensuring peace for the Palestinian people.
