Sanaa Field Day for grain, and legume farmers in Hamdan district

An extension field day was held in the Hamdan district for grain and legume farmers within the field schools implemented by the Office of Agriculture and Irrigation with funding from the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Unit in Sana'a Governorate. During the field day in the district of Adomam, which was carried out in cooperation with the Seed Propagation Foundation and in coordination with the Northern Sector Association, the governorate's advisor, Abdul Allah Al-Marwani, stressed the importance of encouraging and supporting farmers in a way that contributes to raising the productivity of crops. He stressed the need to continue awareness activities and extension lectures on modern methods of agriculture that contribute to reducing expenses and increasing the rate of production. In turn, the Director of the Agriculture Office - Executive Director of the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the governorate, Eng. Ali Al-Qairi, praised the interaction of farmers, stressing the interes t of the office and the unit in agricultural extension and introducing sound ways to improve the productivity of grain and legume crops.
