The technical committee of the Sa'ada Water Basin discussed in its meeting today, Monday, headed by the province's deputy and committee member, Muhammad Kaaibah, the development of rainwater harvesting projects to recharge groundwater within the basin in Sa'ada's districts , Sahar, and Majz. In the meeting, which included members, the Governor's Deputy Governor Muhammad Al-Baadani, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Nimri, and the Director of the Agriculture and Irrigation Office, Engineer Zakaria Al-Mutawakel, the committee reviewed the technical studies of 'caravan' projects and the completion rates in the excavation work. At the meeting, Undersecretary Kaaibah stressed the importance of working on updating the technical studies to move to the second phase of implementation regarding the projects' construction work. The director of the Sa'ada Water Resources Authority branch, Engineer Ahmed Al-Jaradi, reviewed the most prominent rainwater harvesting projects implemented by the Authority branch and the completion rates for each project.
