Russian Defense Downs 3 Ukrainian Drones, 1 Missile over Belgorod, Kursk

Moscow, The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Tuesday that three Ukrainian drones and a missile were shot down over the Russian regions of Belgorod and Kursk. A statement issued by the Ministry said that an attempt by Ukrainian forces to carry out a terrorist attack, using a drone on Russian territory was thwarted, noting that air defense systems destroyed the Ukrainian drone over the territory of the Kursk region. Additionally, two drones and a missile were shot down over the territory of Belgorod Monday night. Since the outbreak of the military operation in Ukraine in 2022, conflicting reports have emerged regarding the extent of losses suffered by both sides of the conflict.
