Moscow: Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Monday Russia's readiness to negotiate on the conflict in Ukraine following statements by Pope Francis on resolving the conflict. Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his readiness to negotiate on more than one occasion, Peskov said during a press conference. He noted that this is the best way to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. According to Peskov, Pope Francis's remarks on the conflict in Ukraine are more of an appeal for dialogue than a request for Ukraine to submit. Source: Jordan News Agency
