Russian air defense systems shot down six Ukrainian drones targeting the Crimean Peninsula, and the Bryansk and Belgorod regions in southwestern Russia. A statement by the Russian Defense Ministry said that last night, six Ukrainian drones were destroyed, three of them over the Crimean Peninsula, two over the Bryansk region and one over the Belgorod region. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and it does not appear that it is close to laying down its weapons, in light of Moscow's emphasis on continuing its special operation until its goals are fully achieved.
