Moscow: Russia on Wednesday called for the immediate implementation of UN Security Council and UN General Assembly resolutions on a ceasefire and humanitarian aid access to the Gaza Strip. "The catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip is a direct result of the ongoing fighting there for more than ten months, and there is a need for immediate implementation of UN Security Council and UN General Assembly resolutions calling for a ceasefire and unimpeded humanitarian aid access to the Strip," Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said during a press conference.
