The River Police affiliated with the Babylon Police Command recovered the body of a young man today, Monday, after he drowned for two hours in the Euphrates River passing through Al-Hashimiyah District, south of Hillah. The Director of Media for Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said, "The police received a report from the family of one of the young men who drowned while swimming in the Euphrates River passing through Al-Hashimiyah District, south of Hillah. He added that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine and that an investigation was opened into the incident." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
