President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and Acting Speaker of the Council of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandalawi stressed the importance of establishing political stability and joint work to overcome pending issues. A statement by Al-Mandlawi's office stated: "Al-Mandlawi met the President of the Republic today, and during the meeting, the general conditions in the country were discussed, and the importance of establishing political stability and joint work to overcome pending issues through constructive dialogue was emphasized, especially in the issue of electing the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, in order to enhance the oversight role of the Council and enact the necessary legislation related to the needs of citizens." The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening the existing and ongoing cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities within the scope of proposing and enacting laws, and the full readiness to proceed with strengthening political and security s tability and providing urgent services to citizens.
