Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 52.07 points, or 0.52 percent, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching 10,125 points, compared to Thursday's closing. The QSE general index was supported by a rise in all sectors: Telecoms by 1.02 percent; Insurance by 0.95 percent; Banks and Financial Services by 0.63 percent; Real Estate by 0.54 percent; Consumer Goods and Services sector by 0.4 percent; Industrials by 0.41 percent; and Transportations by 0.09 percent. At 10:00 am, QSE registered trading of 26.309 million shares in 2,249 transactions valued QR 63.319 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
