Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 55.26 points, or 0.57%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching the level of 9,692 points, compared to last closing. The general index was supported by a rise in most sectors: Real Estate by 0.91%; Telecoms by 0.73%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.54%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.50%; Industrials by 0.44%; and Transportation by 0.24%. Insurance fell by 0.26%. At 10:00 am, 18.506 million shares were traded in 1,826 transactions valued QR 40.880 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
