Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli stressed the significance of the 2nd edition of Qatar Real Estate Forum that will be held under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani from Oct. 13-15 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). In a press conference on Sunday, the Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority said that this exceptional edition, which will be held in partnership with Cityscape under the theme 'future real estate,' represents a milestone in the development of the real estate sector in the State of Qatar, and embodies the collective ambition to enhance growth, innovation, and transparency in this vital sector. He emphasized that the real estate sector in the State of Qatar is one of the main pillars of the comprehensive economic development process, as it contributes effectively to supporting infrastructure development, providing diverse investme nt opportunities, and enhancing sustainable economic growth. He added that the stability and prosperity of this sector play a vital role in achieving the goals of economic diversification and reducing dependence on natural resources, in line with the goals of the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030. Eng. Khalid Ahmed Saleh Al Obaidli noted the participation of a number of speakers, decision-makers, and experts from around the world in the second edition of the forum, which includes specialized workshops and discussion sessions, constituting an opportunity to communicate with key influential figures in the real estate sector. During the press conference, sponsorship agreements were signed with a number of leading companies that will support the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2024.
