Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 47.10 points, or 0.49%, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching the level of 9,711.96 points, compared to yesterday's closing. The general index was supported by a rise in four sectors: Banks and Financial Services by 0.90%; Transportation by 0.56%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.35%; and Industrials by 0.04%. On the other hand, QSE index saw a decline in Insurance by 0.03%; Telecoms by 0.10%; and Real Estate by 0.45%. At 10:00 am, 18.899 million shares were traded in 1,854 transactions valued QR 50.203 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
