Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 10.17 points, or 0.11%, at the beginning of trading on Monday, reaching 9,654 points, compared to yesterday's closing. The general index was supported by a rise in three sectors: Consumer Goods and Services by 0.51%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.31%; and Industrials by 0.17%. On the other hand, the performance was negative for Real Estate by 0.01%; Telecoms by 0.14%; Transportation by 0.79%; and Insurance by 0.95%. At 101:00 am, 59.386 million shares were traded in 2,683 transactions valued QR 87.014 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
