Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 5.70 points, or 0.06% to reach the level of 10,131 points at the beginning of trading on Sunday, compared to Thursday's closing. QSE general index was supported by a rise in Banks and Financial Services by 0.26%, and Real Estate by 0.06%. However, the index saw a decline in Industrials by 0.03%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.12%; Telecoms by 0.20%; Transportation by 0.26%; and Insurance by 0.47%. By 10:00 am, 16.318 million shares were traded in 1,642 transactions valued QR 37.309 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
