Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 1.50 points, or 0.02%, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 9,678 points, compared to yesterday's closing. The general index was supported by a rise in Insurance by 0.96%; Telecoms by 0.41%; Transportation by 0.37%; Industrials by 0.17%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.11%. On the other hand, the performance was negative for Banks and Financial Services by 0.04%; and Real Estate by 0.75%. At 10:00 am, 32.916 million shares were traded in 2,187 transactions valued QR 78.646 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
