Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 34.60 points, or 0.33%, at the beginning of trading on Wednesday, down to the level of 10,348 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE index saw a rise in Telecoms by 0.10%; and Transportation by 0.01%. However, the index was weighed down by a decline in Consumer Goods and Services by 0.14%; Real Estate by 0.30%; Insurance by 0.31%; Bank and Financial Services by 0.36%; and Industrials by 0.50%. At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,973 transactions worth QR 54.605 million, distributed to 27.024 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
