Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 17.56 points, or 0.17%, at the beginning of trading on Wednesday, down to the level of 10,305 points, compared to Thursday's closing. QSE index saw a rise in Transportation by 0.15%; but was weighed down by a decline in the rest of the sectors: Consumer Goods and Services by 0.05%; Real Estate by 0.06%; Telecoms by 0.13%; Insurance by 0.20%; Bank and Financial Services by 0.21%; and Industrials by 0.33%. At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,364 transactions worth QR 33.680 million, distributed to 19.006 million shares. Source: Qatar News Agency
