Qatar’s Permanent Representative to UN Meets UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs

HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met with HE United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Peacebuilding Rosemary DiCarlo, at the UN Headquarters in New York. During the meeting, they praised the fruitful cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. The two sides welcomed the outcomes of the Third Doha Meeting of Special Envoys to Afghanistan, and considered it a good opportunity to involve all parties in order to improve the humanitarian conditions of the Afghan people.
