He told KUNA that this space was created to provide a platform for cultural exchange and highlight the enduring legacy of Qatar's ancestors, the Majles of Qatar was established to represent all Qataris and to educate visitors about Qatari traditions and heritage. Over the years, the Majles has hosted a variety of events, from celebrating the national holidays of GCC countries to marking international sporting events such as the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the AFC Asian Cup. Not only that these gatherings foster a sense of community, but also allo w visitors to experience Qatari hospitality firsthand. One of the Majles' key roles is preserving and promoting traditional Qatari crafts and professions that have been the backbone of the society, as visitors can learn about historic trades like blacksmithing, carpentry, jewelry making, and pearl diving, offering insight into the economic and cultural history of Qatar and the Gulf region.
