Doha: The Qatari Media Center of the Ministry of Culture organized today a training course on 'Writing Skills for Digital Platforms', targeting the age group from 14 to 22 years. The training course covered several axes, including news production skills that are the basis for anyone seeking to produce media content on digital platforms since writing for digital platforms differs from that of traditional media, among others. Director of the Qatari Media Center Iman Al Kaabi said the course came after two continuous months of the center's long and intensive summer program, which included ten different training courses and workshops dedicated to the age group from 8 to 22 years. Al Kaabi added that the center was directing its efforts during the current stage towards youth groups in order to discover young national talents and encourage them to benefit from the center's courses, in addition to preparing them to contribute to the national media process. While noting that the coming period will see more qualit ative training courses, she called on all those wishing to participate to follow the center's digital platforms to find out the courses and workshops offered and register for them, stressing that all courses provided by the center are free.
