Doha: The Qatari Media Center of the Ministry of Culture concluded Wednesday a training course on the role of public relations in building the organizations identity. The training course, which lasted 3 days and was presented by trainer Hassan Ali Al Anwari, featured a number of topics, through which the participants learned about the importance of public relations in the work of any institution or entity, as its of great importance in building the organizations identity and enhancing its presence with the targeted parties. It also addressed several concepts that enhance the presence of the entity, organization or institution. The course focused on the topic of public relations and its skills besides the most prominent modern methods in developing these skills and how to build relationships based on a vision and a strategic plan to promote the organization to other parties, in addition to enhancing a set of skills and basics that must be available to public relations employees in any organization, due to t he great role in building the identity of that institution. Director of the Qatari Media Center Iman Al Kaabi, confirmed in her statement that the training course complements the Centers approach and plan to support and enhance the qualification and training tools for participants in the various workshops and courses offered by the Center, noting that the Centers plan is based on a number of pillars, the most important of which is that the training courses and workshops provided are proportionate to the needs of individuals, which contributes to enhancing the media process in the State of Qatar. She added that next week will witness the launch of the Qatari Media Centers summer program, which is a training and qualifying program prepared in coordination with experts and specialists, through which the Center seeks to provide qualitative training in various media fields. The program targets age group of 14-20 years, in order to make optimal use of the students summer vacation, she noted. Source: Qatar News Agency
