Qatar's Ismail Dawood secured third place in the 400m hurdles at the London Diamond League meeting on Saturday. Dawood completed the race in 47.72 seconds, finishing behind Brazilian athlete Alison dos Santos, who won the race with a time of 47.18 seconds, and Jamaican Rashawn Clarke, who came in second with a time of 47.63 seconds. In the 100m race, American sprinter Noah Lyles, a three-time world champion, claimed victory with his personal best time in the London meet and the third-fastest time in the event this year. Lyles finished the race in 9.81 seconds, ahead of South African Akani Simbine, who took second place with a time of 9.86 seconds, and Botswana's Letsile Tebogo, who finished third with a time of 9.88 seconds.
