Doha: The State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Iran signed Wednesday an agreement on legal assistance in criminal matters between the two countries' governments. The Agreement was signed by HE Attorney General Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi and HE Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran Amin Hossein Rahimi, in the presence of HE Judiciary Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei and his accompanying delegation, who is visiting the country. HE the Attorney General met with HE the Judiciary Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran, where they exchanged views on a number of topics of common concern and ways to strengthen cooperation in the legal and judicial field.
