The State of Qatar chaired the 11th Arab Conference of Tourism Security Officials, which was held over two days at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunis. Chaired by Director of the Preventive Security Department at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Majid Sherida Al Rumaihi, the conference, discussed a host of important topics, including the experiences of member states in the field of tourism security, the developed Arab model strategy in this field, and public safety procedures to protect tourist groups from natural disasters. The conference recommendations are scheduled to be submitted to the next session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers to take the appropriate action. Source: Qatar News Agency
