Amman: The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that Israel's attempt to put the Shuhada Al-Aqsa (al-Aqsa Martyrs) Hospital out of service amounts to a death sentence for thousands of wounded and sick people. "The Israeli occupation is terrorizing patients and medical staff at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital through drones," the Ministry added in a statement on Sunday, citing an Anadolu Agency report as saying. It further said that "the Israeli drones are firing heavily towards the departments and courtyards of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, targeting everyone who moves." It went on to say that "the Israeli occupation seeks to put Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital out of service in a new way by targeting it with drone fire." "The wounded and sick flee from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital under the fire of Israeli drones," in a scenario that constitutes a disgrace to humanity as a whole. "Putting the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital out of service is a death sentence for thousands of injured and ill people in the central region" of the Gaza Stri p, the statement concluded.
