"Under these legislations, we will reach a programmatic parliament based on pluralism," the minister said, pointing out that public and private institutions are obliged to encourage citizens to participate in the elections to deliver MPs who represent them to parliament and express their views and ambitions in building their country. He said that Jordan has been witnessing an unprecedented political movement for two years due to the pac kage of new legislation issued to organize the political landscape in general, pointing out that Jordan has become more experienced than before in the election process, and that the current electoral law reflects the essence of the Jordanian democratic experience, the oldest in the region. He added that the amendments to the laws send clear messages that respond to the unjustified fears of some skeptics about the lack of continuity and decline of political work in Jordan under the legislation in force.
