Mahweet - Saba: The General Corporation for Roads and Bridges in Mahweet province has launched a project to restore and asphalt the southern ring road in Mahweet city, funded by the Road Maintenance Fund. Eng. Ahmed al-Yana'i, director of the corporation's branch, stated that the project covers 3.8 kilometers and is a vital route for heavy tankers traveling between the Sana'a-Mahweet and Mahweet-Hodeida lines. Al-Yana'i emphasized that the project is being implemented with strict adherence to engineering standards to ensure its durability and effectiveness. Mohsen al-Saqqaf, Director General of Mahweet City district, commended the Roads Authority and the Fund for their efforts in rehabilitating the southern ring road. He highlighted that this project will ease the movement of heavy transport vehicles and alleviate traffic congestion in the province's center.
