Producing Tacrolimis ointment for the first time in Iraq and the Middle East

Al-Kindi Pharmaceutical Company was able to produce (Tacrolimis) ointment for the first time in Iraq and the Middle East. The authorized director of the company, Uday Al-Mamouri, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): The ointment, which is the first of its kind in Iraq and the Middle East (treats moderate to severe atopic eczema), received the support of the Minister of Health, consultant Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, in registering and producing the drug. Al-Mamouri added that we began importing modern machines as soon as the state initiative was launched to support the pharmaceutical industries, and we began producing types of medicines, including medicines for headaches and allergies, medicines for heart and arterial diseases, diabetes medicines, psychiatric medicines, and medicines for the digestive system, and sterilizers, in addition to that we obtained initial approvals to establish a factory to produce (oral) antibiotics. He explained that we currently produce (130) medicines, and w e have (52) preparations that are in development research.
