Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani said that we look forward to a new phase of cooperation with the United Nations in Iraq that will begin at the end of 2025. The Prime Minister added: Iraq's selection to chair the Group of 77 and China for the year 2025 is a victory for productive Iraqi diplomacy that seeks to achieve development goals. The Prime Minister explained: During our presidency of the largest international group with 134 member states, we look forward to working towards a more stable and just world that interacts and provides development opportunities for all peoples of the world. The Prime Minister stressed: Our policy places Iraq, its people, security, sovereignty and prosperity first, and we move with full confidence to erase the effects of the past, including wars, dictatorship and terrorism.
