President Rachid and Al-Mandalawi stress the necessity of approving the budget schedules

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, and the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed the necessity of approving the budget schedules. A presidential statement stated: 'The President of the Republic received the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives today, Wednesday, and during the meeting, the general conditions in the country and its political, economic and security developments were discussed. They stressed the importance of intensifying efforts among the political forces to resolve important issues related to the needs of citizens, and completing Constitutional entitlements. The President of the Republic stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Presidency of the Republic and the House of Representatives in enacting and legislating important laws, and the necessity of continuing joint work between political forces, and approving budget schedules in a way that guarantees the rights of citizens and enhances the proces s of construction and reconstruction in all governorates. Emphasis was also placed on maintaining security and stability, improving living conditions and achieving sustainable development throughout Iraq. For his part, Al-Mandalawi expressed his point of view consistent with the proposals of the President of the Republic regarding the importance of cooperation between the Presidency of the Republic and the House of Representatives in order to strengthen the supervisory and legislative role of the Council.
