RAMALLAH: President Mahmoud Abbas received a phone call this evening from the newly appointed Dutch Prime Minister, Dick Schoof. During the conversation, President Abbas briefed Prime Minister Schoof on the dire situation in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, urging an immediate ceasefire, expedited humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the region.
