President Mahmoud Abbas cut short his visit to Jordan, returned immediately to Ramallah, and called for an emergency meeting for the Palestinian leadership. The decision is in response to the atrocity that beset the Palestinian people this evening following the criminal bombing of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which has massacred hundreds of innocent civilians including scores of children.
